Oxfordshire's County Camp in 2009 - 
In 2009 Oxfordshire Scouting will hold it's next county-wide, cross section camp, 12 years after the last one! The last such event was Tupen-Ta-Ruk (TTR) held in July 1997 at Cornbury Park. This event was attended by roughly 3,000 people, and we hope to repeat this in 2009.
The camp will be called Zodiac 09. The Zodiac provides lots of opportunity for theming various parts of the Camp, and 2009 is the Chinese Zodiac Year of The Ox! Zodiac 09 will be open to all sections from Beavers to Network and to all districts within the County.
When
Zodiac 09 will be held over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend – 22 to 25 May 2009 and will be located at Thame Showground.
What
The camp will provide Oxfordshire's Young People with an opportunity to take part in:
- 2 full days of wide ranging activities
- 3 evenings of fun packed entertainment
- a camp with '000s of others from across the County
- meet new people and experience a large scale Scout event
- lots of other things!
